More kid stuff

I have a couple Robby tales before I forget. The day after Christmas, Robby woke up, went downstairs looked around, and came back upstairs to our room and said, "Dad, Santa didn't come last night, it's just the same as yesterday." Robby is 4, how does he not realize Christmas is once a year? This reminded me of the first Halloween I took Risi trick or treating. We lived in an apartment complex, and she went door to door saying her cute little "trick or treat" eating her candy as fast as it was given to her. For days after, she would cry because I wouldn't let her go out and beg for more candy. The difference, she was almost 2.
Next, the day of the Sugar Bowl (WHOO HOO UTES!) I started watching that game on my very poor excuse of a t.v. in my bedroom. It may as well be black and white with one of those ancient turn dials, anyhow, after the second touch down, I was a little overly excited in front of my children who were looking at me like I was possessed. Robby asks me what I was watching, I said, "The Utah football game, GO UTES!" He responds very enthusiastically, "Go Orem Utah YES!"
Lastly, for now at least, we were in the car, radio was on and that annoying song from Riyanna (however, that band, singer or that noise is) came on. Robby got so excited and said, "Mom where did you get BOM BOM DI DOM?" Needless to say, Bom bom bi bom di dom, dumb stupid song won't get out of my head!

Kids say the darnedest things! I am just kidding, but boys especially say the funniest things. When Charles was four we wanted to make a book of his deep thoughts, but of course I didn't write any of them down and now I don't remember them. Good for you for documenting them!!!!
